Notice of adjustment of SMS authentication method (SMS OTP) policy from TPBank

SMS OTP (Short for One Time Password) means a one-time password. This is a sequence of numbers sent from the system to the phone and used to authenticate banking transactions (eg: Transfer money on TPBank App, Online card transactions ...)

From January 1, 2023, TPBank has adjusted its policy to apply for this service as follows:

• Fee: 44,000 VND/month
• Not applicable promotions, discounts
• Daily transaction limit is only 100,000,000 VND

In addition, TPBank encourages customers to use eToken Plus - Integrated authentication method on TPBank Moblie App with many outstanding features and benefits for customers:

• Convenient and flexible to use:
  • Only use on TPBank App, no need to switch back and forth like SMS OTP
  • Can be used while abroad (installed on the phone)
• Outstanding transaction limit:
• Up to 5 billion VND/day (compared to 100 million VND like current SMS OTP)
• Absolute security
